I work with non-profit Boards to help them become better fundraisers.
I work with Trustees and Board members with varying degrees of experience in identifying prospects, cultivating donors and asking for money.
The work consists of assessing the strengths and weaknesses Board members have when it comes to confidently soliciting support ahead of an in-person training and then meeting with Board members in a group setting to establish a common understanding of fundraising best practices, develop a personal pitch and practice making the ask.
The trainings typically run from 1 to 3 hours and can be tailored to support an organization’s upcoming donor cultivation or fundraising event, a specific campaign or ongoing Board engagement in attracting the funds that keep a non-profit running and delivering impact.
